Dragonsong (Volume One of the Harper Hall Trilogy)


I found the audiobook on YT for free.  Sally Darling was excellent.  Having read the book a couple of times before I knew which parts to skip: I really intensely dislike the abuse Menolly suffers.
Other than that, a delightful lighthearted read.  The characters are somewhat formulaic and occasionally irritating, but the story is satisfying to read, with a. happy ending.
