I love how Miss Marple, in the books, looks something like this:
But with the ubiquitous knitting needles in her hands
as opposed to this:
Though let's be clear, Joan Hickson is THE BEST Miss Marple. Also, she has amazing knitting technique that is a delight to watch.
As a by the by, did you know that this is Joan Hickson's daughter?
